bizhosted.com is a hosting service for business websites and the applications behind them. This policy explains what we process when you visit this site or a site hosted on bizhosted.com, and what you can ask of us.
For bizhosted.com itself, we decide what is processed and why: we are the controller.
For a website hosted on a bizhosted.com address, the business that owns that site decides what its site collects and why. That business is the controller of its visitors' and customers' data, and we process that data on its behalf as its hosting provider. Questions about a specific site's content or data go to that business first; its contact details are on the site.
This website sets no cookies and runs no analytics scripts. Our servers keep the same request logs described above. If you email us, we keep the correspondence for as long as needed to answer and follow up.
Sites are stored and run on servers in the European Union. We use Cloudflare to deliver pages and protect the service, Google Cloud for file storage, Hetzner for servers, and Mailgun to send sign-in emails. Each of these processes data only on our instructions.
Request logs are kept for a limited period for security and reliability, then deleted. Sign-in records and site data are kept for as long as the site is published and its owner keeps the account, and are removed when the site is erased. Expired sign-in tokens are deleted automatically.
Under the GDPR you can ask for access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data, object to or restrict its processing, and receive a copy of it. For data a hosted site collected about you, ask the owner of that site; we will help them respond. For anything we control, write to privacy@bizhosted.com. You can also complain to the Dutch Data Protection Authority (Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens).
When this policy changes, the new version is published here with a new date.
